Printing presets?

As best I've been able to figure out CO printing presets is that there is essentially one - to control the print cell size(s) on the page - the template.

What I'd like to do is set up a printer and paper size/type, with its profile, as a preset. For example, I'd like one for "3880 with 16x20 Epson Exhibition Fiber using the CololMunki ICC profile."

Otherwise, every time I open the print dialog, I have to set all that up again, regardless of what I may have printed on the very last time I opened the dialog. CO has forgotten everything except the template. ☹️

How is everyone handling this?

    It looks no one is printing outside C1. As I send TIFF to print agency or to PS if I need to print in house but that is rarely happening

    I have not found a way to save a complete print preset in any version of CO I've ever used til today.
    CO remembers the settings only until it is closed.

    Always have to go the the long way (v8 workflow, not printed from v9 yet):

    Print Dialog

      - Page setup

        - set photo printer (my default printer is a b/w Laser)
        - set page size (self-defined preset for my paper)

      - Print Setup

        - set photo printer
        - set print preset (self-defined OS level preset for my paper)
        - save

      - set profile for my paper
      - (re-)apply my self-defined template to fix margins
      - print

    So that sets things up for the current session only and is lost on the new launch?

    Yes and yes.
    But the workflow is from memory, I have not checked it with a print when writing.
