Editing in C1 - Preview not updating

When applying noise reduction, it appeared that little if anything was being done to the photo. However, when viewing the photo at 100%, actually quite a bit NR is being done, it is just not being reflected in the preview (fit to desktop version). Good news is when exporting to JPG, the NR is being applied correctly. Bad news is that if you were simply going by the fit to desktop preview version of the photo, you would assume NR was not being applied.

So it looks like this may be a bug. Anyone experience this issue? Attaching two images, its kind of hard to tell with these screenshots but in C1 it is very significant. First image shows photo opened at 100%, second photo is fit to desktop.

That's the way that noise reduction has always worked in the versions of Capture One that I have used.

There is even a comment in the Luminance section of the online help about viewing at 100%.

check the effect in the Viewer at 100% magnification

However, I believe it also applies to the other noise reduction controls.

Thanks Richard. Good to know, although I still think it should reflect the changes in the preview.

Maybe an idea for future updates/versions..

I've seen this too, but I don't think it's the case that the preview isn't being updated, but that the noise you're seeing in the preview is actually the more macro-scale noise that's not removed from the image. If you look at the closeup of your model's stomach you can see it's slightly mottled even after the noise reduction. I think that's what is actually showing up in the preview. I bet you could reproduce it by exporting the final image then shrinking it to your viewer size and applying a little sharpening.
