White Balance clipboard and two cameras
When I have imported image from two cameras, the Canon 5D Mark II and Mark III, I find I cannot apply the same colour adjustment settings to the images. For example when I select a Mark II image with an adjustment of 5700-2 and apply it to all my images, the Mark III images get 5744 - 7,9 and they are of course visibly too magenta.
I also find the comma decimal for Tint a real pain as I like to use the keypad to enter my values.

The white balance values (Kelvin, Tint) are relative values in the sense that they relate to a specific camera.
You can easily check this by setting 2 different models to a fixed WB setting in camera (for example Daylight) and notice that in CO6 (or other raw converter) you end up with different WB values in the software but (most probably) similar white balance.
As a result you can not exchange or copy WB values between images of different camera models.0 -
Thanks, it is what I suspected. It would be nice if there was a "sort by camera" option so I could separate the camera images to easily apply batch adjustments. 0 -

Fortunately, there is such a feature and it is called Smart Album. You define rules that determine which images populate a Smart Album. You can use camera model, camera serial among others to separate images from each other. Note that when you for example have a 5D, a 5D mkII and a 5D mkIII, the rule "model contains 5D" will include all images. You can add "model does not contain mkII" to remove the mkII images from the album. Separating on serial number is perhaps an easier task.
Note that an album is just a view and the images are linked into it, while they remain located in their original folder. Smart Albums look into the session folders and session favorites. In other words, when your images are in a folder that is not one of the session folders, make your image folder a favorite and the Smart Album will work.0 -
Thanks, that should work for me and I'm assuming if I colour tag them in the smart album, I can sort them in the original folder. 0 -

Yes. You can also create Smart Albums that separates on color tag.0
