    Karel,

What is it that you need to know. Do you want to shoot tethered, or do you have questions with regard to raw file processing?

The latest version does support the 1Ds no doubt about that.
If you are refering to tethered support then please read the release not which you will find in the C1 Pro directory, which will explain how to enable and additional information about the limitations as well.

    Hi,

I use a 1Ds tethered a have had good success. However, starting with C1 version 3.5 the automatic rotation of incoming images no longer works. I simply use an older version of the software on my capture computer and will continue to until this problem is fixed.

Phase One seems to warn against shooting the 1Ds tethered but I have found it to be quite reliable. Every once in a while it fails to receive a shot but this isn't a big deal to me. Hope this helps.

    Hi Everyone,

Can anyone assist me in letting me know how to make the same adjustments, such as color shift, or saturations shift to a batch of images instead of applying it one by one to each image?

    Thanks,

In each tab of each tool there is a \"Apply to selected captures\" button.
Do the changes high light the images you want to change (all of them is Apple + A) and then click this button.

Is there any plans to produce a version of C1 Pro that will reliably tether a Mac to a Canon 1DS? If so when?

I am trialing the software & tethering by altering the plugins but probably won't buy the full version until the bugs are resolved.

Is there any other software that will tether the two or do I have to stick with the Canon bundled software?

    Graham,

My understanding is that the instability lies in the software components from Canon (maybe within camera) and can't be corrected by Phase One. As I posted above, I have found tethering a 1Ds to be quite reliable with C1; much more so than Phase One's disclaimer leads you to believe. In fact, the last time I tried Canon's own software this feature didn't even work at all. I encourage you to go ahead and start using C1 Pro. It's great software and I believe it's currently the only real option for shooting a Canon tethered.

    Thanks for the info. WF

Has anyone tried tethering a Canon 1DS MkII to C1 Pro?

(If the problem lies within the camera then maybe these have been resolved with the MkII?)

1Ds mkII in not supported yet in tethered mode, but the files are.
We are looking in to utilizing newer canon components which support the MKII´s and by that hopefully will prove to be more stabile with the 1D and the 1Ds.

Note the \"looking in to\" part, a wait an official statement before referring to this as a \"promise\"
