More integration with X-Rite passport in C1
I was much tempted by the workflow of X-rite ColorChecker passport in LR. It works like a dream for photographers who need to work outdoor but are serious about color accuracy and consistency. However there are also features and image quality in C1 that I love and cannot live without.
Am I alone in this dilemma of choosing C1 or LR? Will C1 have more support in X-rite Passport in the coming releases ?

Actually you could point the question in X-Rite's direction for supporting CO5 like they do for LR. However, CO and LR are basically different products in this area. You might want to read this:

And you can do a search here on 'passport' and you find and enjoying amount of posts. Happy reading.0 -
I am not asking for generation of icm profile based on shots on ColorChecker. I know the difference between DNG and ICC.
But wouldn't it be great if C1 can analyze a shot of ColorChecker Passport, auto adjust the RGB Levels, WB and/or Film Curves to make the color patches accurate. Then users can just cut & paste the adjustment to photos that were shot under similar condition. 😉 😉0 -
Being able to exactly define a color, regardless of the Color Target (I use Golden Thread by ISA), or even regardless of any color target, is a feature sorely lacking in Capture One. I really can't understand why it isn't in there, though with all the other excellent aspects of the software I can only assume there's a good reason. I need to define exact RGB values of any pixel I choose in the image, which I can do with other programs who shall remain nameless. Having to move to another application for this one aspect can really affect workflow. 0
