Noise Suppression defaults

I want to disable the noise reduction feature in C1, and when I adjust nr to zero, and set the new defaults accordingly, it does not save the new default. Even when I close the program, reboot my machine, and reload C1 it still wants to automatically reduce noise. I do NOT want the noise reduction feature to alter my shots! I will let Noise Ninja or Neat Image do that. How do I disable the noise reduction? And why doesn't the "set new defaults" function not work?

    Create a support case so we can record this if in fact a bug. In the meantime, use the new Preset Feature to achieve what you need.

    On further examination, I found that when I opened a new folder of photos, the default settings I entered did indeed "take". It was when I effected the change, opened a new shot in the same folder it did not reflect the changes I entered. Thanks!
