    more specifics would be good...

Are you applying to more than one other file? If so...is the apply to all button set?

You can confirm wether the Copy was successful by looking at the adjustments clipboard. All copied adjustments show up there. Is WB checked in the adjustments clipboard after you do the copy?

I asked no question. The post I made was a statement! The last thing I want to be told again and again is to continually uninstall/install this software until PO write a version that works.

I do hope that happens before v7 as we will probably be charged for that upgrade.

Well...here's a screenshot with WB copied and applied in the current version. This is for anyone who wants to read your "statement" and assumes it has any basis in fact. The adjusted color is distorted for clarity.

White Balance Copy & Paste doesn't work.....C1 Pro goes through the motions but nothing happens...nothing changes...nothing is pasted (so I assume nothing is copied).

I have a nearly identical system, though a different graphics card and Win 7 Pro.

My installed CO 6.2 properly copies and pastes the white balance values, both to one file and to multiple files.
I'm not sure what to tell you.

    Thanks for your reply, Jim.

The problem I am having is when trying to use the little double ended arrow...with alt to copy and with shift to apply...the quick way, so to speak...without having to go through all the rigmaroll of bringing up the Adjustments clipboard.

It works like this.....for WB using the copy arrow under the WB tool menu

Select your range of files, adjust the primary file, then shift_Click the arrow to apply WB only to all selected...that works regardless of where the Select One/Select all toggle is set (for Primary or All Selected varients). You do not copy to use this function...only apply to all....

when using Alt-arrow, only the WB correction of the selected file is copied to the clipboard, not other adjustments that have been made to that file. At That point, to apply that setting to all selected files...you need to have the Toggle set to all selected varients and use the "Apply" arrow in the toolbar...

To copy ALL adjustments, use the Copy arrow in the toolbar...make sure you have the toggle set for "All Selected Varients" and use the Apply arrow....otherwise, with the toggle set to apply to primary, you can only change the file selected as primary....and select one at a time.

...in none of these cases do you need to enter the adjustments clipboard....I did that simply as an illustration to show how to check what is/is not copied by various commands...and you do have to uncheck anything there you wish removed, or simply copy from an unadjusted file..

I believe the Local Copy/Apply is described on Page 64 of the manual.

I had read that, Drew, several times but I could not make any sense of the instructions. I could, however, understand the instructions given by John4. Thank you, John.

Im glad you joined in though Drew, you can explain where I am going wrong being unable to customize the keyboard as explained in the Topic I posted.

    Here's the Link, Drew...

Actually this issue happened to me last night. Inadvertently I pasted the wrong WB to an image. When I discovered my mistake, I tried pasting the correct one which would not take. After resetting the image, all was OK. Sorry, I don't remember much of the particulars of what exactly I was doing at the time as I just wanted to process these images. It just happened once, and the WB was copied OK (several times) as I was able to paste it after resetting the image. Did not think much of it until reading this thread as all the other copy paste routines worked just fine.

My computer is WinXP, E8400, 2 gigs of memory, DP35DP MB.

Just to add this: I have 6.2 installed on a Win7 32-bit machine (Leaf Aptus-II 6) and white balance does not work at all. If you move one slider (either Kelvin or the color balance ["Farbbalance" in German, should be similar in English]) the other slider goes to the far end of the scale (14,000 Kelvin or color balance to 50,0) and the image turns instantly white. No corrections are possilbe. It's only possible to use presets ot pic grey from an image.

I asked Phase One support but no solution yet. I also tried version 6.1 which I have at hand, same result. It also has same results with photos taken on a tethered mac and then copied over to the Windows machine. And finally: With the sample files provided on the Leaf website, everything works fine.
