Tethering support for Canon 1Ds Mark III
Now that we have a release date for Capture One 4 Pro...Oct. 15
Has anyone found a definitive answer to the question: will it support native tethering for the Canon 1ds Mark III?
And for that matter, any new Canon body since they (Canon) changed their tethering protocol 2 years ago.
Canon 30D, 40D, 1D Mark III, etc.

I've not been able to shoot with my 1Ds MK II with the CO4. I've tested my connection with CO377, which works fine; but not with CO4. Can anyone help me?
I'm so used to CO4 now, that I've to tethering with CO377 and carry on with my workflow with CO4 on the same machine. Strange way of working???
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Daniel: OK here comes the answer: YES! Capture One 4.5 will support 1Ds MK III tethered + many other Canon's
Teng:
Capture One 4.1 only supports Phase One camera backs (see release note)0 -
I see... Ok thanks. Can I say that 4.5 will support tetherating? 0 -

That's what it says in Ulf posting from yesterday. What is not explicitly mentioned in that posting but can be derived from the thread itself is that DSLR tethering is only supported with the Pro release (i.e. Capture One 4.5 Pro), I assume.0 -
4.1 has a hot folder to 3.7.9 which does not really make it tethered.. Yet.
Looking forward to the new 4.5
Thanks or the info
