I have noticed similar issues and as far as I know, it happens intermittently. By the way, what raw file (camera/back model) do you use?

I use files from a p45+ and from IQ 160.

It is not possible to apply the LCC with both types.

    Try this, maybe it helps:

I assume you have a LCC reference shot, you like to create a LCC profile from that shot, and like to apply the profile to another shot.

First, you select the LCC reference shot and create a LCC profile.
Next, you add the other shot you like to apply the profile to to the selection. You have now 2 images selected (or more, if you want to apply the LCC profile to more images at once). Apply the profile.

Another workflow is to save the created LCC profile as a preset and apply the preset on the final shots.

Let us know whether this helped and/or share your steps in your workflow.

I created a LCC file (it is marked with LCC on top), but if I want to apply the LCC to a selected image by clicking the right mouse button the LCC apply is greyed out.
    Caputure ONE DB version 7.01

    any idea?

    Hi,

My guess is that you have created the LCC from camera X and what to apply it on a picture from camera Y? If that is the case, this is why you cannot apply the LCC.

The LCC-shot has to be done with the same camera, which is why you see this greying of a preset.
This also applies to copy/paste. An LCC will no be pasted if the camera is not the same.

    Paul is right.

The solution is easy, just select the LCC marked file and the image you want to apply it and it works.

I was confused, because the workflow in CO6 was different. At the end of every shooting with a selected lens or shift I take an additional LCC shot.

If you do right and left stitching, it was easier to name the LCC files in CO6 "filename....left" or "filename....right" and it was easy to find the correct LCC files in the library.

Now it's a different workflow, you cannot identify exactly the left, middle or right LCC shot. But I guess I will find a solution for this.

But thanks Paul, your idea was correct.

    Berthold,

What camera/lens(/back) combination did you use? I presume you are using the same camera/back for the shots ?

The preset workflow can in this way as well. Just name the preset accordingly.

I use the IQ 160 and Alpa cameras with different lenses: 36, 43, 72 and 120mm from Schneider-Kreuznach.
I shoot always a LCC for every camera/lens setting or shift of the lens, so after a working day I have plenty of LCC files.

Indeed, I have to look for a comfortably workflow for my LCC shots in CO7.

In the past I just saved the LCC files with the appendix left, middle and right at the end of the file name.
Probably I can save this as presets in CO7. I have to play around with CO7 to find the best solution.

If there are any suggestions, I would appreciate that.

And thanks again for the help.

Save LCCs as presets is pretty much the same workflow as in V6 (you only have to type in a dedicted name for the LCC preset).

I shoot dedicated LCCs for every scene. Therefore I used to rename my LCC shots to match the file name of the actual capture.
So if the actual capture name is e.g. CF005046.TIF I've renamed the respective LCC shot to the same name plus adding the movements - e.g. "10r12l" (the first value always refers to rise/fall, the second to left/right movements). So in this case the LCC would be named CF005046_10r12l.TIF (10mm rise / 12mm left).
BTW: when you sort "by name" the LCCs will appear next to the respective capture.

Sure this is a bit time consuming ... but you get used to it and it's also practical with regard to archiving sessions (yes, I do backup my LCC shots).

Maybe this works for you? ...

In V7 I'll possibly change my workflow. But the LCC feature is still somewhat buggy (I have similar issues like yours) so for the time being I'll continue with the "save as preset" workflow.
