Help with preview and batch processing.

I just moved to Capture One on the Mac and I'm very happy except for two little issues. The first one is that the View>Preview menu rarely works as the items (1 up, 2 up, etc.,) are usually grayed out. The second issue is that when I select more than one thumbnail and hit process, only one image will be converted...I have to process one at a time.
I'd appreciate any advice.

  If you highlight a set of images, they will get a blue frame around them.
  If you press process all the images will go in to the batch queue.
  How ever if you click around on other tools, the focus will switch to the tool or tab you have pressed and the images highlight will be grey, if you click process now only the image which is in the preview window will be added to the batch queue.
  This is as I said standard in Mac OS and makes perfectly sense especially when you are in 2 or 4 up mode.

  Blue frame means I can batch process but not access View>Preview.
  
  Grey frame means I can access View>Preview but not batch process.
  
  I got it! Thanks very much. I am thrilled with the Mac version of Capture One now that it works tethered with my 1Ds. Great job!

  You've got it, basically is the thumbnails \"In focus\" or is the main preview \"in focus\".
  In other word, which section of the software are you currently working with / controlling.
