Missing Previews Preferences - 3.5.2

In the User Guide under section '8 Tools' there is details of setting prefs for Previews so that you can decide where they are stored and when they are generated. A great idea, but these prefs are missing from my version - 3.5.2 v1081! The Previews option does not appear in the Imaging section of the Preferences panel.

  This is a typo in the manual, it was planned to be implemented and was in a beta version from which the manual was made out from.
  I do not think this feature is dropped but a waits a better implementation.
