Trouble with removing Layer Adjustments

The copy/apply behavior of the clipboard does not have the remove feature built-in. If you deselect an adjustment before you apply adjustments, does not mean existing adjustments for the deselected tool are removed. And I am very happy it does not (imaging the consequences).

You can remove for each tool the adjustments separately, for a range of selected images, in one stroke. Select the images, and next click on the reset arrow (curved arrow in tool's title bar). When the 'Edit All Selected Variants' are ON, all selected images will reset any adjustment for that tool.

    Thanks Paul,
I hadn't thought to do it that way.
But, what would happen, for instance, if I added one adjustment layer and applied it to a range of files, then a second one, but decided that I only wanted the second one applied to them all and wanted to remove the first. Would I have to reset the tool and in all but the main image, then delete the first adjustment and reapply the 2nd layer to the rest of the files?
