filter "processed"
Hi
I imported few images in my catalog
I selected one and I modify few things; colours exposure etc
now i use the filter "processed': NO and I'm expecting to see all the picture I din't processed but CO is still showing my the image that I modified.
Another question :
what about filtering the "processed" : YES, can I do that?
I simply like to be able to filter and see only the picture that I processed (modified or adjusted)
I'm sure I'm missing something here.
Cheers

I think you probably need to create the filter using "Adjusted" NOT "Processed".
Adjusted = Edited.
Processed = sent to output.
(Unless of course this is something else that is more easily available using Windows ..... ☹️ )

As Grant stated, you need to filter for Adjusted, not Processed.
Problem is, that the filter Adjusted is missing on Mac. Another plus for Windows, Grant! 😉0 -
I'm on MAc
How can I export all the images that I adjusted ?
adjusted = modified in any way
Please let me know
That is another fundamental feature.
Cheers

Ah!
Too many limitations on Macs to keep track of Paul!
Dear oh dear, I am continuously surprised that there are so many differences and, so far as I can tell, with the advantage to Windows!
Totally unexpected.
But in some small ways I feel happier that I have never been strongly tempted into the world of Apple.
It was always my impression that Windows lagged behind Apple in certain user friendly functions. Maybe things are not so clearly definable these days.

I am aware of your point of view Grant, and you take every opportunity to reinforce it. Of course I respect your point of view. It is also highly personal. But without a Mac at hand, it is difficult to make a comparison or to judge, I think.
I have both and use both for Capture One and maybe I am aware of the differences more then Phase One does, I dare to say for the occasion. My reports on alignment issues are numerous (lost counting) and they go both ways (some in favor of Mac, some of Windows). In fact, I believe I helped the Windows version catch up a lot with the Mac version in the last few years through these reports. Anyhow, I am happy that the 'Capture One Mac is better then Windows' sentiment is gone. We're heading in the right direction.0 -
Hi Paul,
I had know you have been involved with the alignment issues and doing good work on that.
What has surprised me, especially with some of the issues that have come up in recent days, is that the Win version seems not to be behind the Mac capability at all in most areas. I had expected it would be and would continue to be so for some time due to the differences in embedded functionality in the OSs.
On the contrary for many things the WIn version seems to be slightly better provisioned.
The challenge now, for me as someone who likes to be able to make helpful suggestions where possible, is that I should really stay away from Mac questions as I have no way to check whether a suggestion is valid even though the nature of the functionality seems, at first consideration, to be something one would expect to be "standard" across any platform.
All of which seems to reinforce the point that application development across multiple platforms with extremely variable hardware (and other software) configurations is not as trivial a task and business process as many of use would like it to be.
Thanks for your explanation Paul. Very helpful.

Hi All
I am relatively new to C1 and am somewhat mystified by the posts in this thread, but as a believer in the principle that the only dumb questions are the ones that are not asked - here goes!
Firstly, I don't understand the issue in pemy's OP. I have had no problem locating and exporting originals and variants, or with applying filters and using them to find images. I am pretty sure that the reason is my not understanding what the real issue was - could pemy (or someone ...) amplify for me please?
Next, I found some of the Mac/Windows posts a bit out of place and wonder where they are coming from. As was pointed out (or at least that's how I read it - but that may be because it's how I see it myself) it's not a "Mac" or "Windows" issue, but rather a consequence of the work of the app developers. Launching off into "it would be better on a (fill in your preferred platform here)" is not going to help the person with the problem, especially when there is a forum set up for users of each platform to share and discuss within their own group.0 -
I agree with you that it is best to stay on topic and limit confusion. I am sorry I (or we) did not achieve that goal today. For every thousand posts I make here, I allow myself to drift away a bit. And yes, there are distinct forums per platform but helpful users might take a side step into the unknown by helping users of another platform than the one they use themselves. Oddly enough it appeared that a requested feature, what the OP was asking for, is not available on Mac, but the Windows users could not know.
Regarding the OP's question: he likes to distinguish adjusted images from the rest. Easy as that. The Windows version has a filter for that, the Mac not.
Hope this clarifies the issue and thank you for sharing your concerns.0 -
Ahhh, now I get it. Thanks for the clarification (and the rest of your response - nicely balanced and appreciated).
