Perhaps I do not understand your request but the Capture One user guide is included in the software (help menu -> help file) and can be printed from here as well. So I guess that this is not what you are asking for.

I'm quite sure that is what they are asking for. It may be stated somewhere, but I don't consider the help menu an obvious place to look for a user manual. I seem to remember earlier versions of C1 coming with a PDF manual that was more thorough and user friendly. I'd personally like to see a return to that format.

They are for 3.5 but will shortly be updated.

Went to above site for manual/users guide but site was not available.

Would like to read manual/users guide prior to trial as it probably will take the 15 days allowed for trial to absorb guide.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Phase One web site is quite deep with valuable information. Choices for help are varied so Don't give up looking for what may be best for you to help get you started.

All User Manuals are available at web site:
    http://www.phaseone.com/Global/document ... ation.aspx

There are older versions available at the Software Archive:
    http://www.phaseone.com/Content/Downloa ... veMac.aspx

Also, Tips & Tricks, Knowledge Base articles, Videos, Getting Started articles, Education Articles, and Tutorials, All are availabe at the web site.

And finally, need Help, Look under Help or contact Technical Support by creating a Support Case which can certainly include a clarification of features.
