Selection Points - New
I've just started to experiment with the new Selection Points in the updated version of Capture One and am very pleased with how they work so far.
For instance, I find that selection points for either Highlight or Shadow Level to be giving me improved images.
Obviously it depends on how, and where, you use the selection points but I am impressed.
Now to figure out how best to use the other, new, selections points being offered.
Might there be a webcast on this new feature soon?

Hi Richard,
Just curious what you mean by Selection Points. I understand the Shadow Level and Highlight Level picker, but am not sure you are referring to that.
I assume you are on 10.2.0.0 -
Paul,
At the top of Capture One, where the Select, Pan and Loupe tools are there is a tool for Pick White Balance (last but one).
If you click and hold your cursor on that you get a drop down list of more 'selection' points you can use for such things as Pick Shadow Level, Pick Highlight Level etc. etc.
I don't recall seeing all these before, or am I wrong?0 -
I think the OP is talking about the white balance eyedropper. They are also in the levels tool. 0 -
It's not the ?White Balance tool but all the new ones under it that I'm curious about and how best to use the Skin Tone one.
I was hoping that it might be included in any future webcast's ?0 -
IIRC those tools have been there since v9 if not earlier. 0 -

What's important is that :
1/ you've finally noticed them
2/ you find them useful
