    catfell,

When you installed the 2nd build of 2784 did you completely remove the previous version?
This is necessary for color profiles to behave.

If you did do this, it is possible your Color Sync is corrupted.
See Knowledge Base article # 1501

    Keith,

I deleted the folder containing the previous version of Capture One Pro, and up until recently, I have been able to process without any icc profile mess-ups.

Reading the knowledge base article you suggested, it seems that the issue I am having is not the same as what is described in the article.

I just tried processing a raw file to both tif and jpg with both processing engines. I also re-installed CS2 because of a separate issue, but in all cases the processed image, in spite of the chosen profile for the process being Adobe RGB (1998), photoshop says that the tifs do not have any icc profile associated with them and the jpgs all have sRGB as their profile. Photo mechanic does not show any proflie with any of the images.

Should I still follow the instructions in the knowledge base article # 1501?

    Thanks,

    Keith,

Sorry, I read the knowledge base too quickly. I'll try deleting the colorsync stuff and see what happens.

    Keith, or anyone out there,

I tried removing the colorsync preferences as direced in the knowledge base #1501, and received the following message:

    override rw-r--r-- gretchen/admin for /Library/Caches/com.apple.colorsync.profiles.502? y
    rm: /Library/Caches/com.apple.colorsync.profiles.502: Permission denied
    override rw-r--r-- security/admin for /Library/Caches/com.apple.colorsync.profiles.92? y
    rm: /Library/Caches/com.apple.colorsync.profiles.92: Permission denied

I'm logged in as an admin, but do I need to be logged in as root?

I was able to perform the three commands in terminal, but after restarting Capture One Pro is still not embedding the proper profile in the processed images.

    AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

    catfell,

Since there are so many variables with this type of issue, it would be much better submitted as a Support Case.
    Please create a case:
    Support Site: http://support.phaseone.com

Include all details of workflow and Destination settings and which destinations are enabled.

    Sincerely,
    kc
