Importing old sessions created in CO 3.7 into CO PRO 4.5

Please advise how we can import sessions from older Capture One PRO 3.7 into CO PRO 4.5. I have, at times, the need to reload archived sessions and would like to know if I should keep using 3.7 for those tasks.

Detailed instructions please.

  You can't import old sessions. The sidecar files for edits etc aren't compatible, plus the .session file is replaced with .col45 for session stucture.
  
  I too hope migration will be implemented in a future release. Until then its a case of moving captures and reprocessing. Sorry. ☹️

  I also experienced this when trying to get used to Capture One 4. It's a big drawback that Phase One haven't got any way of importing old sessions. You never know if future releases of operating systems will support Capture One 3.7, and in the end you might have to move all raw files to the new application. What a time waster... 🤓
