ImgCoreSocket error
Not sure if anyone can help/advise but......
I can open CP1 4 when I first start my PC ok but if I then close CP1 4 and then open it again I receive
'ImgCoreSocket error'
Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted.
When I cross this or press the ok CP 4 will then open........any ideas why this is happening?
I have checked my firewall (Norton) which shows CP1 4 is allowed.
Windows XP Home
AMD 64 3700+
Service Pack 3
Any help greatly appreciated Ian.

Hi Ian
I see that you have a case going with Support, 50167. I recommend continuing to work through the case on this specific error/condition.
Thanks

Hi Rebecca,
As you maybe are aware one thing led to another with support which I am greatful for thanks.
Not sure about if the original error is sorted as I decided to go back to Capture One 3.7.7 LE & recently purchased Capture One PRO 3.7.8.
With both I was unable to activate the licence as it said my key was invalid.
I tried everything I could think of, uninstalled and reinstalled Capture One, disabled my firewall etc, all without success. Then as last effort to get things to work I completely uninstalled Norton 360 which I had recently upgraded too.........Then the Licence activated without a problem.
I've got Norton 360 now reinstalled but that did appear to be the culprit even though I've never experienced problems with previous Norton releases in the past.
Thanks Ian.0
