    Same as Rudy..
There were serious connection and speed issues in version 1...
Unfortunately version 1.01 is even worse.
We could just get a connection by not using a password for the image server.
This issue was verified by different iPads and iPhones.

Did Phase One check the update BEFORE releasing?

I have never used 1.0.0 and I'm usually opposed to these gimmicks.. but I have had no trouble with Capture Pilot...

I would suggest a couple things that might help.

Create a Wireless network from your capture Station and connect your iPods/Pads to it.

On your capture machine's system prefs./network - Make sure you Set Service Order to have Airport at the top (I recommend always setting your most important connection at the top of this list).

I have to agree that the app needs a lot of work. It has such great potential but it is incredibly buggy. Embarrasing in front of clients. I end up using VNC connection to display until it's fixed. Please invest in the app, we will use it!

Good suggestions from Matt32. Also, try disabling bluetooth on your device.

If you continue to have connection issues, I recommend that you create a support case.

In addition a tip I frequently apply to customer's Macs: in System Prefs/Network, create different locations.

Each location has all but one network adapter removed (each location another adapter remaining). This way I created locations named Ethernet, Wireless, Mobile and even No Network (all adapters removed) to control the network behavior and improving security while on the road and increase battery life (disabling Airport).

Once you created a location, the Location item will appear in the Apple menu for quick selection. I now rarely use the default location Automatic.

We seem not to be the only one suffering over the Bluetooth / Wireless performance issue which seem to be in the Apple hardware.
Here is how to disable bluetooth on your device. It should left the performance.
