Canon 5D mk1 and Capture One Pro 5.1.2
Hi
I'm trying to shoot my Canon 5d tethered, something that i have done with all m previous versions on C1 Pro. but the camera will not connect. The screen says 'busy'.
If I connect a 5d MK2 it is recognised straight away.
There are no memory cards installed.
Running on a Mac OS 10.5.8

Wild guess perhaps, but check whether your 5D's firmware is up to date. And check the camera's communication settings.
In general, if you are on CO 5.x, I would update to the latest release (5.2.1) unless you have a specific reason not to do that.0 -
Thanks for you advice it solved the problem.
Now I'm trying to get the best settings everything, looks a a little blurred even using a tripod. Any ideas0 -

Maybe a slight out-of-focus issue? Is it blurry with both 5D and 5D mkII? Do you experience the blur in relation to tethered operation only? Just try to get the picture with more detailed information.0
