IPTC metadata when tethering

Is there a way to add IPTC metadata to files during tethered capture? In Lightroom and Photo Mechanic, I can set default presets to add this data on import, as well as during tethered capture in Lightroom. What I have been doing is adding the metadata afterward using Photo Mechanic.

    Yep, use the Next Capture Adjustments tool -> Metadata drop down
