beginner question : heights and widths
Hello everyone đ
I was wondering if we could enlarge a photo on capture one car after the image processing, when I export it, I only saw the possibility to increase the resolution but not the dimensions and for example, when I increase the resolution it is exported in 2x3 cm !!! is it the original size of the raw file? in the exif data of the raw photo of which I speak, it is written: dimension (of pixels): 5456x3632 but I do not see heights and widths (? ) Can I make my raw photo worse without creating noise? đ

Firstly, have you read the Help section?
https://help.phaseone.com/en/CO11/Expor ... tings.aspx
If not then see what you can make of that first to avoid simply repeating what it says in here.
If you have read that and it leaves you with questions that you cannot work out answers for then pick those points one by one and let's answer them one at a time wherever possible and so build your understanding.

Increasing the resolution does nothing to the pixel count.. (http://dorsetportrait.photography/ppidp ... t-confused)
If you want to increase the pixel count then in Process Recipe, select Scale > Fixed, and in the % box type in how much you want to increase the image by..0 -

Is there any way I would know that was a requirement? Your written English reads very well.
Assuming there is no French translation available via the Help menu link to the Help files (I do not know for sure but I cannot seem to identify a French translation from my connection.) might I suggest Google Translate (or one of the other translation options)?
Google appears to do a reasonable job although how good the details of the translation might be I do not know.
Obviously the illustration images are not translated to the local screen wording.
Most of the answers you will be offered here in the forum are likely to be in English. If the User Guide, in English, is of no use to you because of language differences it is likely that other User will not be able to help much also.
Maybe one or two native French speaking regulars could help out now they know their language knowledge is required here.

For information...
There is an official Phase supplied French translation of the Version 8 functionality here.
http://downloads.phaseone.com/Capture%2 ... R-b726.pdf
The information you are interested in is basically the same in V11 as in V8 for your specific question as far as I can remember.
You will need the last 3 or so pages of the document.
