Highlighting dust and spots?
Lightroom has a useful checkbox which, when activated, produces a very high contrast monochrome/negative image which shows dust and spots very clearly and makes it much easier and quicker to deal with the problems. I know this is not a feature of C1 but I have tried to reproduce such a view using mono and contrast but have failed to find a formula which replicates that of Lightroom. Has somebody here managed to find settings which are similar to LR or another way to make dust and spots more visible?

You can make a luminance curve that goes up and down a few times. Save it as a preset and select it to check. Not as easy as the checkbox (and keyboard shortcut) in LR... but it often gets the job done.

Thanks Peter. I'll give that a try. I may need to revert for guidance but I'll give it a go myself first. 0
