No files showing in capture one, help please.

I just downloaded capture one db trial.

When I use the browser pointed at my pictures folder and choose a raw file of photos I get This collections is empty.

My images are from a canon 20d

Please help. I get so frustrated with the time wasted attempting to use something new.

  I just found that I can open jpegs in Capture One but not raw files.

  Hello David!
  What I understand the DB-version is for Digital Backs not Canon 20d.
  
  Try the Pro-version insted.

  You were correct I had DB version. Downloaded Pro version and it is working.
