New features
Most reflex camera lenses produce linear distortion, IE barreling or pincushioning. I use LensFix based on PanoTools. PC users use PTLens. Both uses the PanoTools A+B+C=D PanoTools coefficients. There is a choice of highly sophisticated interpolation algorithms as well. Unfortunately, this is done in Photoshop after PhaseOne CO makes the Tiff and there is risk of data loss, or loss of fine detail. I hear Bibble is considering adding the PTLens feature to their RAW processor. Can PhaseOne add a LensFix pane to do this in their RAW conversion as well? If one already has LensFix from Kekus, one can easily create the A,B, &C coefficients for their own lenses in Photoshop ahead of time, write them down and save those numbers, and then when running PhaseOne CO, enter these numbers in a special LensFix pane during RAW processing.

I just read a press release of the latest Bibble release and it does indeed add the PanoTools lens correction feature. PhaseOne needs to step up to the plate please! This is a real issue. 0
