Can "Processed" marks be reset?
Once a photo is processed, regardless its output size, it is marked as "Processed" with a gear icon. This works well for me so far.
Now I need to generate small size proofs on unadjusted photos for the record. After the proofs are created, I want those photos to be shown as unprocessed. Is there a way to reset those marks?
Alternatively, is there a way generate proofs without adding processed marks?

Yes. Look for Process History on the Adjustments menu.

Proofs printed?
Or maybe the Web Contact Sheet feature option?0 -

Bingo. "Clear Adjustment History" will reset the Processed state back to False0 -

Thank you. The "Clear from Primary" option did the trick of removing those Processed marks.
It looks the only way to generate small size proofs without leaving Processed marks would be:
1. Process selected images.
2. Use the "Clear the Primary" option from Process History to remove Processed marks.
Is that the only option?0 -

Yes I think so: you can't process them without the marker being set, but you can clear it again. The assumption is that you would want to know which ones you had processed, I suppose. Though the options I am seeing are clear from selected, or a specific date.

OK, I found a problem with this scheme. It clears the processed marks from a date, not from a photo or multiple photos. When a large number of photos are selected and cleared from one folder for a specific date, the processed marks of photos in other folders processed on the same date are also cleared.
Is this working as designed?0 -
It's probably a case of finding a way of selecting the right ones, and then choosing clear from selected.

In Capture One 20, select all of the images you want to reset. Then go to Image > Process History > Clear from Selected.
