import multiple sub-folders to catalogue
Is there any way of syncing/updating multiple new folders of raw files to a catalogue in one go.
I ingest new raw files with Photo Mechanic, and then once culled etc, import them into a C1 catalogue. BUT, as I use a date based folder structure (top level folder is the year and then multiple subfolders based on date), I may end up with multiple folders that need catalogued by C1.
I only seem to be able to catalogue the folders one at a time. In Lightroom, I just point LR to the 2018 top level folder, choose sync, and LR recognises the newly created subfolders and adds them to the catalogues.
With C1, it only synchs with known folders, which forces me to physically add them one at a time.
Am I missing the obvious here, can C1 replicate the way LR (and other DAMs) works?
Thanks
Graham

To answer my own question, which was answered on another forum.
The way to do this is to do a full import of the entire top level folder with the check for duplicates switched on. This doesn't affect existing imported files, and with the most recent C1 update doesn't take that long to complete.
I have yet to try this.
