C1-8 don’t recognize sony-zeiss 24-70 of my alpha7

No problem for my Nikon D600, lens are fine in metadonnées ans "carctérisques de l'objectif" (sorry I am french).

For legacy lens Sonnar T* FE 55 mm f/1,8 ZA, no information anywhere.
I have to find it in "correction de l'objectif", yes it is in ! But I have to put handily.
What solution ?

    Hi,

    Do you have issues with both lenses, the Sony-Zeiss 24-70mm and the Sonnar T* FE 55mm? As you noticed, it is important that the lens is recognised by the camera. Next, metadata (EXIF) is written by the camera in the image file. Next, Capture One recognises the lens from the metadata. And last, a lens profile is applied if it is available.

    Are the lenses recorded in the metadata (metadonnées)?

    I discover with PhotoMechanic that information is fine in a JPEG, not in ARW ; surprising because I shoot only in RAW.
    I have an alone lens with my recent A7.

    I can see the lens data in the Metadata tab in Capture One. I can also see it is applying lens corrections using "Manufacturer Profile" I'm using raw files.

    Sony A7II v1.10
    Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm v.01
    Capture One v8.1

    Check you have the latest firmware in the camera / lens etc.

    Now I have fine lens in metadata tool, but always NO CORRECTION LENS applied. I try import with différent settings, no success.

    I don't know what means V.01 in "Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm v.01". Perhaps a plugin to put in C1 ?

    Maybe you have lens correction disabled. Check this setting from the tool action menu (click top right of header). Apart from that, can you open the drop-down list and select Manufacturer Profile as the other user stated?

    No, correction lens are enabled, C1 propose only to disable them !

    I find Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm in the list of Manufacturer Profile

    I have made a preset but it is not very convenient…

    What about CaptureOne pro SONY ? My usual C1 was not Sony, I had only Nikon.
    Now with my new alpha7 I download C1sony pro.
    No differences in versions, dates, sizes :
    8.1.0.145, mardi 16 décembre 2014 17:21, 688 Mo.
    I thought they were identical but one is not activate, I have to use try option. No difference for my lens.

    CO Pro or CO Pro Sony is the same software packages, same functionality. Only the activation differs, limiting to Sony raw files for the Pro for Sony activation.

    All is fine since I import pictures instead of reading what was ingested by PhotoMechanic.
    Fine also if I ingest with C1.
