I downloaded the english version before the site became unavailable. The date of the SetupPRO.exe file is 17/01/2005 16:35. The file unziped OK and C1 appears to be running properly.

I downloaded the 3.6 English ZIP of SE three times today, onto my laptop running XP. Each time I attempted to extract all the files from the downloaded ZIP file, I was treated to \"unexpected end of file\" messages and other signs of ZIP file corruption. The last download (and I did clear my browser cache) began approximately one hour ago, which would be 18 January 2005 at 1730 or so GMT.

    Ulf,

Sorry, but I just made sure I cleared out all the old versions of the download and have retried the SE download twice with the same error message. Are you sure it is fixed?

    Thanks,
    Cameron

Have to agree with the previous poster, don't close this thread.

I downloaded the English SE-version a few hours ago, and was unable to unzip it. I can see the contents of the zip-file, but when I try to extract it I get a message like this: \"Unexpected end of file\".
The setupfile inside the zipfile is dated 17.01.2005 16:56.

    Please look into this...

I've tried it 3 times and it is still corrupt. I have been waiting a long time for this promised upgrade and now I still can't get it.

I can't belive they would leave this version up until tomorrow.

    Can they get nothing right?

    Jim,

I think you have to realize that there is a significant time difference between \"us\" and \"them.\" So, while I, too, would have liked this resolved today yet, they are probably at home in bed thinking it IS resolved and will be working on it while WE are in bed. I'm assuming, of coarse, the you are living on my side of the Altantic. If not, I apoligize.

You're right, of course, I'm just frustrated after the many delays. I do find it hard to believe they think it is fixed. It would seem pretty simple to verify if it is fixed or not.

    Sorry for the coarse comments.

I'm frusted, too. I've been using a rigged version of C1 in order to be able to process my 20D pictures and it works, but not well. I guess one option, if you really needed to do something, is to download the Pro version as a 30-day trial and use it while they get this download fixed. If the download isn't fixed by early tomorrow that is what I'm going to do. I would hope they would get the SE download fixed within that amount of time.

By the way, are you mocking my incorrect spelling of the word \"coarse\"???? I think you are! 🤓

Actually, I didn't even notice it. I guess that reflects badly on me. 😂

Now the unzipping is OK,but there is another problem:the workflow works fine, but when I try to process the image two weird things happen.Or the process starts (the bar is moving) but the processed image is not opened in Photoshop (and I'm not able to find it anywhere),or the process does not start at all and the installation crashes.
What can I do? I'm wondering if is better and advisable to go back to SE 3.5.
    Best regards

Go to File -> Preferences ->Miscellaneous settings -> Set to selected application and find your way to the executable file of your prefered image handling tool

    Dear Mr.Liljegren,
I had already selected Photoshop exe in file>preferences>miscellaneous settings, but the problem is always the same:the processing does not start and when sometimes does start no processed image is opened in PS cs. All works well in SE 3.5 instead.
    Sorry for the hassle.
    Regards
    Luca

Now I've reinstalled all and processing seems OK.I've noted a weird stripe on the bottom of the processed image opened in PScs:I've tried to reset Workflow>All Capture settings and no more stripe.
Thank you for the attention.Best regards
