Processed jpg file locked to other apps

Once C1 5 has processed a jpeg & I open it, either automatically or independently, the file remains locked - for instance PS4 won't allow me to save any edits until I shut down C1.
I'm outputting to the default session 'output' folder so it's not because C1 has the output file 'open' in the preview pane.

This appears to be a new bug, as C1 4 doesn't seem to do this. Any clues please?

  I have the same problem with V5 under Windows 7. I open up the jpg in photoshop and have to save it as a different name, unless I close C1. It seems to not be releasing the file lock after processing in C1. Tonight I'll see if I can open a jpg in the same directory in photoshop (without processing it in C1, but have C1 opened to that directory) to see if the lock is at the directory level.

  Thanks for sharing that Bill - interestingly I can't even save the file under a differnet name or format when C1 is still open, pretty drastic file management issues!
