    Robert,
Unfortunately we cannot support RAW + JPEG in a way that Canon software can. At this point it's a limitation that cannot be avoided. Capture One cannot differentiate between one capture and the next (the raw and the jpeg). As such it sees two separate captures and names them accordingly.

    Hi Drew,

    thank you for your reply.

In Capture One is in the selection Menu for Naming and counting the Option "Name and image number of the camera". I would expect that when I select this option I get the same number for all images I get when I shoot an images and it does not matter how many Images will be transferred, 1 or 2 or more.

I tested the transfer of the camera with the EOS utility and the name of the transferred images were correct, the RAW-Image and the JPEG had the same name with the same number. Only the ending of the files were, of course different. An other interesting point is that the naming and numbering does work with a canon 5D but not with the canon 1D (same setting in camera and capture One, same Version (5.1) of Capture One), like I described here in this post.

So when I select "Name and image number of the camera" in Capture One for the file name I would like to have the same number for the Raw-Image and the JPEG, which should be the one out of the camera.

Is it possible got get such a function for transferring Images correctly from the canon 1D?

    Kind regards

    Robert

    Robert,
At this time, no. However I have inquired for further investigation to see if there is a simple adjustment on our end that can be implemented in the future but as past experience has shown us, this is not something that we can account for under normal circumstances.
