Maybe you want to share some more details with us, like: version of Capture One (details in Help, About IIRC), whether you try to edit JPEG, TIFF or your Leica's raw files (DNG?) and maybe even your Leica model. 0 -
thanks for the reply paul.
its leica d lux 4.
the files are .jpg
its capture one 4.1.3.205xxxxx
wierderst thing... it just started working... let me check what i did.0 -
ok i notice on the pic that i can edit it has a symbol in the bottom right corner of its thumbnail that looks like a toaster.
but the ones i cant edit... it only as a eye symbol0 -
The "toaster" icon shows some adjustments have been set. The "eye" means read-only. I'm not sure when CO started allowing editing of .jpg files instead of just raws. 0 -
The eye-symbol means read-only and refers to the fact that either the file or folder has read-only attributes (a copy from backup DVD is a common scenario) or it is a non-editable format like TIFF or JPEG. Note that these file formats has become editable in a later release of CO 4.
You can update to CO 4.8.3 (= latest CO4) for free and edit your jpg file. Download it in the software archive:

For using Capture One with your Leica it would be better to set the camera to a rawfile-format, like DNG, if it's possible. Then you have much more possibilities to optimize your pictures. 0
