C1 Pro problems or suggestions
1. I would love a refresh button so when I have my computers networked gigbit, the files would refresh faster to see changes (crop, tagged state, etc).
2. A contact sheet sytle way for printing or html to catalog or share the session. Make it scaleable !!!! not huge or too small.
3 Reduced size of the previews, When I archive my sessions of 4-7 gigs, the previews alone are 1 gig !!!!!
4. Overlay needs to accept PDF's, it's a standard !!!!!!
5. Increase the SPEED of the program, even on my G5 dual 2 w/ 4 gigs of ram it seems a little sluggish.
Thank you

Since I couldn't find an appropriate feature request forum, and since this is on topic, and since the great C1 customer support monitors these forums, I'll put it here:
In the crop tool: it would be great to be able to start dragging from outside the image area, and have the crop tool automatically start at the corner (as in photoshop). Although this is a small detail, I find that I am constantly wasting time when cropping when I have to start the crop inside the image area, then grab a corner and drag it all the way back out.
Another note: C1 rocks.0 -
another great thing would be to be able to move the overlay image as you wish like a layer in photoshop.
We use overlay utility with logos for advertising and we have to prepare different files in photoshop se that they fall in a precise place in the image. It would be so mach easer to be able to move them in C1 and place them wherever you need.0 -
In addition to a \"Refresh\" button, I would like to see an Import button/command. As it is, I need to eject my CF card and reinsert it to bring up the import dialog. A simple and logical keyboard shortcut would sure improve this. 0 -
aaanorton,
You don't have to remove and reinsert your cf card to import. Go to the capture tool (second from the left in the tool bar) and click import . . .
I don't think there's a hot key combo though.
best,

Yeah, thanks. I just noticed that today. That wasn't there in 3.5.2, was it? Nothing like requesting existing features... (Obviously it was a good idea though!) 0
