Process recipes have 'disappeared'

My process recipes have mysteriously 'disappeared' and are no longer shown. However, when I try to set up another and use a name I had previously used, I get the message 'The recipe names must be unique'. So, they are in their somewhere but where? And how do I retrieve them?

    You can show/hide non-active recipes with the checkbox "Show enabled only" in the Process Recipes tool.
    Each recipe is stored as an XML file in the folder
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\CaptureOne\Recipes
    This is on WinXP. For WinVista & Win7 the path is slightly different but similar.

    I have tried what you say but nothing shows. The XML files, however, are in the specified location!

    Just checked those XML files and they are all corrupt. That answers my question but I don't know what could have caused the corruption 😄

    Such can happen. Check/scan your disk and recreate the recipes. At least you now know what folders to back up too. 😉

    I back up all my files daily but didn't spot the problem until I'd backed up the corrupt files 😄 C'es la vie...
