A lot of views but no replies makes me think I'm the only one having this problem.

I did receive an installation error that the program was not Windows Logo Certified and that I should abort the installation. I installed anyway (Windows XP). Perhaps I should try re-installing. I haven't tried registering it yet (I should have one free pro upgrade left).

BTW: I'm excited about the new features, such as dust removal, vignette to crop, "Skintone" (once I found it under Color Editor, not "Skin Tone"), plus others. I haven't tried the Local Copy and Apply of adjustments, but it sounds useful. I would love to have script macro capabilities or multiple clipboards for pasting different settings.

For me the Auto Adjustments (Ctrl+F) isn't working the same especially with highlight levels. I wish the toolbar can be edited more, the crop, pan, and other tools are now harder to get to as I have to click the down arrow at the end of the toolbar and slide the mouse just right to get to the buttons. There's room on the screen for more buttons, but I can't move them. I don't need easy access to some buttons like Preferences.

Pressing the delete key on mine send the picture to the trash folder along with all the setting for that particular image. I haven't changed any settings related to trash so that seems to be the default.

Well I tried reinstalling V5 and now all the thumbnails and previews are showing up like a static screen on the tv. So I uninstalled V5, rebooted, reinstalled V5 and the same thing is happening, corrupted previews. I can delete all the files in the Proxies folder and the settings and the thumbnails look okay for a moment, then as the previews are generated the thumbnails get corrupted. So at this point the program is unusable. Suggestions?

What was the magical file in V4 that everyone had to delete to get things working again? Do you know which file in V5?

Delete key is still behaving the same, no confirmation, and can't find the file in Trash or Recycling Bin.

Nope, deleting "Capture One.col50" didn't help.

The good news: I removed a bad memory card and the delete key now sends the file to the session trash folder (not recycling bin). But there isn't any confirmation as it happens automatically which could be quite an aggravation is you hit the wrong key. Maybe there's a setting somewhere to force confirmation.

Bad news: However, I still can't see the thumbnails or previews as they are still gibberish.
