How to keep customizaed settings?
Each time when a new version is installed, the current settings are wiped out requiring a total customization process again.
When a new version is installed, the following customization steps have to be performed all over again.
1. Move Tools from left to right.
2. Move Browser from bottom to left.
3. Resize browser width so 5 columns are shown.
4. Remove the Capture tooltab (no use for it!)
5. Add Quick tooltab (use it all the time) and move it to where the Capture tab was.
6. Add additional tools to the Quick tool such as sharpening, noise reduction, local adjustment, keystone, etc.
7. Change default for certain tools to affect the selected layer only.
This has happened when installing v7, v8 and now v8.1.
Can those settings be saved across version upgrades?

Most of your personal settings can be saved : window > workspace > save workspace. 0 -
Jean1,
Thank you for the reply. I saved my V8 workspace and hopefully will never need to go through the customizations again.
Where are the workspace files stored?0 -
