Capture One 4 .5 Web Contact Sheet
I'm loving the Web Contact Sheet- thanks to Phase One!
What works well is the processing speed and the web site look and feel.
What I'd love improved:
1) a bit more detail even at the loss of processing time.
2) Some way to modify the setup without having to start from scratch. Is there a way to take photos out or add new ones in?
3) Also is there a way to change the opening info without having to reload everything?
What file has to be replaced? Something in the theme folder or scripts folder or index.html file?
4) Finally, any way to add one's logo would be great.
Once again, in general I'm very happy with the speed of processing and look and interface of the site. It'd be great to make these improvements to make it even better, IMO. Thanks.

I like the web contact sheet feature as well. What I'd like to see added (in addition to what the above poster said)
is a progress indicator, so I know it's running. Unless that already exists, and I just couldn't find it.
Thanks

Well...you just didn´t find it 😉
So, after hitting the export button...go to the output-tab and look at the process summary. There you can see it running and monitor the process...0 -
Yes good job on this one, some custom colours and a watermark feature would be nice as well 😉 0 -
One point re: my initial comments on the Web galleries- I realized I had the quality set to its detente position. Once I moved it to 90, the previews look great.
Now if I could just add my logo...0 -
Is it possible to add the capability to numerically quantify the Thumbnail Size (in pixels), Preview Size (in pixels), and Quality (% compressed) of the slider positions?
Perhaps by right-clicking the slider, a pop-up could give the numerical details on the slider's current position.
When creating a web contact sheet, one often needs to create thumbnails and/or previews of a specific pixel dimension. With 4.6.1, I had to set the slider, generate the contact sheet, and then look at the generated thumbnails/previews to determine if the size (in pixels) met my needs. If not, I had to move the sliders and try again.
By showing the numerical size, one would not have to use an iterative approach to getting the correctly sized thumbnails and previews. The numerical value of the Quality slider is less important, but would be nice.0 -
Regarding the logo you can build a framework for the web contact sheet tied in to your website or get your web designers if you have any to do it for you so you can get all your logos, bells and whistles in there.

Hi Allen
You can see the pixel size of thumbnails when adjusting the slider, the number in orange above the slider is how many pixels the images are wide.
hope this helps

Robin,
Thanks for the suggestion.
However, I must confess that I am running the Windows version of C1 (v4.6). I posted here because there was no similar thread in the Windows forum (and I hoped that if PhaseOne addressed my concerns in the MAC version, they would also do so in the Windows version).
Having said that, I tried your suggestion and did not see any numbers above the slider when adjusting it (the slider).
When I adjust the slider for Thumbnail Size, I can see the size of the thumbnail image changing (which gives me an approximate idea of the pixel size), but what I was looking for (in the Windows version of C1) is something exactly like you mentioned (pixel sizes shown when moving the slider).
Perhaps the MAC version does show the information I'd like to see. Can anyone from PhaseOne confirm that the pixel sizes are shown in the MAC version (when moving the Thumbnail/Preview sliders in Web Contact Sheet creation dialog) but not shown in the Windows version ... if so I'll post my question on the Windows forum.
Thanks again Robin!

Hi,
I have some problems with the web contact sheet.
After creating one, it's appears well in firefox, but when a click on a thumbnails a empty window pop up, with all the functions working but no image??
Any suggestions?
Pictures name are like that : A03256(c)smets.jpeg, A03257(c)smets.jpeg , A03258(c)smets.jpeg , ....

Dim,
When you click on a thumbnail in the web contact sheet (generated by C1), a script is run.
Make sure you are allowing scripts to run (in your browser's settings). Not sure if this is the cause of your problem, but you will need to enable scripts in order for the larger "preview" image to open (when clicking a thumbnail).
Also verify that the necessary files and folders exist for the web contact sheet. In the same folder as the web contact sheet's file (called index1.htm) there should be the following three folders:
* photos (this folder will have two sub-folders: previews and thumbnails)
* scripts
* theme0
