permanently applying adjustments?

I am new to phase one and I have been watching the tutorials and reading everything I can but I can nowhere find any information that tells me how I can permanently apply adjustments I make to an image. When I open up the images from my 'move to' folder in Capture One the adjustments are all there, however when I go the 'move to' folder through the finder page on my computer (so that I might open one up in photoshop) the images have not changed at all. Could somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong.

  What you have not yet understood is the concept of the program Capture One (CO). CO does not apply the adjustments to the original file (raw file in general but you can adjust JPEG and TIFF file as well). CO applies adjustment when you PROCESS the file to an (new) output file. Therefore you do not see any changes to an image file you previously opened and adjusted with CO in Finder page (sounds like you're on Mac; no problem but you posted the Windows forum).

  Thanks for replying I am actually using pc (work computer) but i use mac for my personal work so have just mixed up the termonolgy sorry. Can I learn to process files through tutorials?
