Can't launch C1 anymore

I installed C1 and it has been working well for 2 or 3 weeks. But suddenly, when I now try to start C1 a window shows up: «Fatal Eroor. An unknown error occurred. The application was unable to gather information about the error.» I tried uninstalling and reinstalling C1 as well as .NET Framework (I have 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5). But still it doesn't work. Im using Windows XP.
I'd be glad, if there are any ideas how to solve this problem. Thank you!

I kept on trying removing and installing the software several times. But still no success. Is there still no idea how to solve it? 0 -

If You do a search in "c:\\Documents and Settings" for "Capture*"
Make sure You have turned on Searsh hiden and system files.
You will find a few maps, try to rename or move away them.

You could try to remove Capture One.col in My Pictures\\Capture One Library. It will be recreated on CO4's next start. 0
