Capture one and Compact flash issues

I was shooting a Canon ids MKIII tethered into C1 Pro and C1 Pro kept crashing. We then took the compact flash card out of the camera and C1 worked fine. Is there any known problems shooting to Capture One with a Compact flash in camera?

    This is a known issue. You can do a search here and you'll find several similar posts. Best to shoot without CF card (or with an empty formatted card if you insist to have one in the camera).

    When shooting tethered there is no "Override" in the camera to choose which source the data should be written to, CF card or Computer. Therefore your only option is to remove one option. Shoot to CF card OR shoot Tethered. Doing both gives the camera options, options make it confused, confusion leads to frustration, frustration leads to tears.
