Activation of LE question?
Hi All
New to Capture One LE and to this forum so sorry in advance if the answer is obvious and I have missed it.
I got the the Sandisk 'voucher' for LE and have recently installed & need to find my way around it and learn how to get the best of it with my limited PS skills.
However, my question at this stage is by way a bit of future planning. AFAIK Phase One allow two activations, a bit like PSCS2 with one for the desktop and one on the laptop. Well, I will likely be retasking my Windows 2000 Pro SP4 Dual boot (other OS is Win98se) desktop and installing XP SP2. I realise that I could use the second activation when I have WinXP installed but I was wondering and hoping that one day I will get a laptop for use in the field and if Capture One LE becomes a key part of my workflow I would by that stage have used my allowance of activations. 😭
So is there a procedure for deactivation such that I can then 'transfer' my desktop installation onto the new build with WinXP? Or will Phase One smile on me and allow such a transfer when I need to do this much needed rebuild of the desktop.
I hope that all makes sense and that someone can tell me what is possible?
TIA 😊

Box Brownie,
Until version 4.0 LE arrives, for any Activation problems or to transfer an activation from Old machine to New one,
you will have to submit a Support Case that includes your Profile email and/or the Product Key.
Support Site: http://support.phaseone.com
In Version 4.0, it will have a Self-Serve protocol to Activate/Deactivate on your own.
Enjoy Capture One !
Cheers,
K C0
