    Hi,

Is it the upper toolbar ? Did you try to right click on top of the window, and deselect "Hide Toolbar" ?
If it is the lateral toolbar, you go to View -> Show tools.

I'm not sure why your toolbar keeps disappearing, but you might want to configure things as you wish and then save as a custom workspace.

Really bizarre. Yeah, it seems to be fine now. Must be operator error.
    🙄
I've been using version 7 for so long, I'm having some growing pains. I wanted to wait to upgrade until I had a new computer. I've been burned before by upgrading software on an old computer. The new Macbook Pro is great. Although, the Retina display is taking a little getting used to.

I do that in PS. My presets are almost always the same, so I have it pretty closely setup to the way I've always used it in Version 7. I'll noodle around with it. Thanks for the suggestion.

This is likely due to an issue saving out the preference plist file. Hitting Window > Workspace > Default Workspace will bring it back. Saving out a custom workspace will also accomplish essentially the same thing, but customized.
