Keyboard shortcut for unselecting any edit tools
Let's say I use the Curve Tool to apply a custom curve, and then I want to move to the next image. Even if I select the Move Tool, if I press the right arrow on the keyboard, instead of moving to the next image, it amends my custom curve. How do I basically unselect or unfocus the curve tool?
Cheers!

I think you've run into a Capture One bug, one that bites me often. A workaround is to close the curves panel and then re-open it. That unselects the point that is grabbing the key presses.

Yes this bug is quite annoying.

A possible workaround (if I understand the issue & the desired outcome correctly) could be to tap the “v” key (which as you likely know switches to the default cursor tool) & then you should be able to execute your desired result with the arrow keys henceforth.

This is only because you have application "focus" on the curve, and so arrow keys are currently mapped to moving the point x/y.
The actual true "next image" shortcut (in any scenario) is CMD+Arrow...

Great pointer, yes, Cmd + Arrow works great even when I'd been using the curves tool! Thank you.
