Performance Decrease in Windows PRO 8.1?

I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 PRO via a fresh installation and re-installation of my programs, I am experiencing a decrease in performance using C1PRP 7.1.5. Has any Windows users experience of detected a decrease?

The interesting is that Windows 8.1 PRO runs programs faster; however the actual using of C1PRO is kind of slow when compared to Windows 7 Home Premium.

For reference purposes, there are NO changes to my computer. Everything is running and operating as they should.

  Hi Roland,
  
  I have also noticed a performance decrease in 7.1.5.
  By up to 60% when export.
  Use 7.1.4 to work around the probem.

  I upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1 standard and everything runs slower, not just C1. Almost all apps are much slower, and windows explorer takes a long time to open directories. Search on internet indicates a lot of people having the problem. if PRO is the solution, then i'll upgrade, but to do that I have to purchase the PRO Pack to get the upgrade key, which is another $100.

  Hey all,
  The consensus from the various Forums and Blogs I frequent observe what Bill has mentioned. 8.1 just seems slower overall.
  A few have suggested new User Admin accounts or various other fixes.
  My suggestion is to do some Googling and look around at other users experiences in general as this doesn't seem specific to our software but instead a general issue with 8.1.
