You're welcome to build whatever you like, add whatever you like, edit the existing templates as you like.
They are located within the Application. If you need help finding them please create a support case.

    Hi Drew,

Thanks for your response. I found the templates in the Application, but I do not think that it would be a good approach to edit them directly in there. Any update will certainly destroy them and to be honest it does not feel like something we should do. Is there any technical reason why Phase One doesn't give the capability to add one's own templates in the Library (as with the Styles for example ?). The only one I could think of is that it is not possible to create templates within Capture One, hence adding new ones would require HTML skills that cannot be controlled / checked in the application...

    I guess I should open a ticket for a feature request ?

You can add whatever templates, changes, edits you would like to the Application in the same directory that you found the current templates. These will then be available in the Software.
We simply do not have an external reference for these files, only one within the software at this time.

I have done just that. Copied the included templates and modified then.

I'm quite happy with the result, including using the supplied templates. The only disappointment is the quality of both the thumbnails and the "full" images as generated by the Capture One web production function (sharpening is appears to be the issue). I don't know if the output has been improved in version 8.

To overcome the thumbnail and the "full" image quality problem I routinely regenerate them all using another image programme. Of course I have to rename all the generated images to match the names generated by CO. It's actually quite tedious but necessary.

    Regards

It has not, it still uses the QuickProof process for faster preview generation.

And at the moment this is the best workaround.

I hope we can improve this feature in the future but at present it is all that is available.

    Thanks Drew.

It's a pity this occurs, especially since COP is, and is promoted as, a high quality professional software and the ability to generate high quality "proof" sheets on the web for clients is a very useful function.
