You can contact Phase One directly by opening a support case from their web site if you like.

Hello Daniel, glad to meet you here 😊
[...] I worked with iView from its origins and through software's versions some functions have been integrated after being scripts.
True. All scripts, standard & customized ones, built by Daniel added so much value to iView/EM i couldn't find any equivalent useful DAM software to replace it (while Microsoft was trying to strangle competitors, but with empty hands...).

So i hope Phase One will understand Mac users need a very safe and welcome environment for those AppleScripts which will make iView/EM/NewName a real taylor made application for all of us.

Just a word: thank you Daniel for all your help for so many times.
The same from here: un grand merci !

    Hi guys,

Don't believe the rumors, I don't paid my fan club 😉

At this moment PO seems also mute as µ$.
But be patient, let them time to digest the piece.

I add that it also takes time to come back those who thought the software abandoned.

Hello Daniel. I just wanted to say thanks. Over the years, your scripts have saved me hours and hours and hours of work. Plus now I know a little French.

I think that having an online repository of scripts hosted by PO would be great. The scripts can be either 'official' or 'use at own risk', but having them all in one place would be tremendously helpful (so that work is not duplicated elsewhere), and would also encourage other users to build on the existing work.

    Andrew.

    Hi Daniel,

I wonder if either of the following two requests I'll post on the Bugs and Features thread could be done (or have been done) with scripts. BTW, I still use i-view media pro 3, although I just now got EM2.

    Bob Stokstad

Two requests for features in EM2:

    1. keyboard shortcuts for calling in helper applications (e.g. Photoshop)

    2. edited media files generated by helper applications should be automatically added to the catalog, positioned next to the original media file.

The second feature is extremely important. I spend a lot of time manually importing the image files made by helper applications or by i-view media, and it drove me to buy Lightroom. I'd prefer to stick with i-view/EM.

    Thank you.

Despite the lack of other languages than English and the silence of P1 about this, I adapted some of the scripts described here:
    http://iview.free.fr/ScriptsIVMPEM.html

They are on the same model as the previous, a "Common" folder and a "ScriptsLanguages" folder to put into the "Plug-Ins" folder.

    http://iview.free.fr/bin/Scripts_Media_Pro.zip

Tell me if they work, if they are useful and if you have any suggestions.

    Enjoy.

    Merci Daniel !
So far, "Backup Sets" works perfectly but no luck with "Photo Import" (both scripts from folder Scripts L) :
Media Pro does crash each time i tried to run the latest (might be also something wrong with my card reader).
Anyway, good news: the Master/Sensei is back ! 😎

    Daniel,

I think I have your older "Move/Copy Annotations" script but I can not get it to work in EM2. (See my discussion topic at the DAM forum.) I don't see this script in your new set of scripts. Do you have a more recent version that works in EM2?

    Thanks,

    Hi supporters,

I try to restore order in my scripts.
There are public and private, but also what makes it difficult is that now there are 3 applications.

I vainly try to make a script can be dynamically associated with an application.
Unfortunately, blocking is "tell application XYZ" where XYZ is necessarily a constant compiled with the script.
So requirement of having three versions of each script and "casse couilles" 🤭 to modify.

Please syncrasy call me in private for request.
