10.1 literally taking many hours to generate previews

Also, in spite of Folders containing the previously processed files, version 10.1 randomly does not show any image files in the Session Capture etc folders. Yet, they exist on the HD - Just randomly not displaying within Capture One 10.1.

Those which I am able to connect are literally taking many hours to generate previews. If that is going to happen every time I have quit and then re-open CO, it renders the app a total waste of time!

    This may not be an answer,but it might be related. I have a large catalog. When I first converted from version 9.3, to 10.1, all previews were regenerated, once. Thereafter, they did not regenerate. The initial regeneration to 14 hrs for 52,000 images. It is not clear why the images regenerate, when not of the preview resolution preferences were changed and the cache already had all of the previews.

    ....My CaptureOne Library is 300 GB for 92,500 items (numbers rounded off). They are spread over 20 folders.
