    Clean out your Preview Cache.
Once done with a Session, it should be removed and then the cleaning the cache will remove the Preview files (.C1p) which can use up resources.

When an update is installed a new uninstall is created. Unfortunately, the version # fails to change, but the program Is Not installed twice.

    Keith, I did the following........

    1. Opened C1.

    2. Chose: File/Preferences/Preview Cache

    3. 'Never' had been selected. So, I changed that to: 'Every time when........'

    4. I then chose: ' Clean up the preview cache now.' The window message said that the preview cache was now using 139Mb. Sounded good!

    5. I did it a second time, just to be sure!

    6. Closed C1 and rebooted.

    7. Opened the Control Pane and chose Add/Remove.

Unfortunately, C1 is still occupying 16Gb+!!

    What am I doing wrong?

    Many thanks.

Windows only periodically updates the size information in the Add/Remove Programs. It is, as you discovered, calculated upon install. I'm not sure what else can trigger a recount, but it definitely is not "live".

To get an accurate number of how much space is currently being used, you can find your way to the Program Files directory for Phase One. Then, right click and choose Properties. The resulting dialog will add up all the files and folders under that folder.
