By "process tiffs", do you in facts mean process tiffs (which would refer to the input file format), or do you mean "process to tiff", which would refer to the output file format?

If the latter what is the input file format?

Do you have Tiff Editing enabled in Preferences?

I would suggest a Support Case if you have not already raised one.

Secondly, assuming that you are trying to process to a TIFF output, do any parts of your process recipe setting appear in RED? Have you checked for a sensible size of output? Do you have space enough for the files? Are there any access rights issues with the folder you are trying to output to?

Some basics. If they are all OK then one can move to the next steps.

I've just run into this as well. It's not all TIFFs, just some--and now that I have a nice compact repro case, I'm going to go open a support case.

Workaround: assuming you haven't done anything to your TIFFs in C1 after working on them, create a new session, close C1, and in Finder, copy all the .tifs that won't process into the new session without their .xmp/.cos files. Once the previews get built, process the files and they'll process from a clean session.
