Sony A7rIII - need to restart CO11 to control it
Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with the Sony A7RIII, every time I turn off the camera while tethered I need to restart Capture One since the program is unable to see it.
I'm using a Macbook Pro 2017 15" (USB-C) with Mac OS 10.13.6, Tethertools USB-C to USB-C 4.6mt cable, A7RIII with 1.10 firmware, Capture One 11.2.
A friend of mine is using an old macbook pro 13" (USB-A) and the provided cable from sony (USB-A to USB-C) and it doesn't have this problem.
Something to be aware of? Thanks

Do you use Google Drive for syncing things to the cloud?
Their software, Backup and Sync, doesn't play nice with tethering Sony cameras. If you kill backup and sync before plugging in the camera, that should help.0 -
you're right, that was the problem.
Quite annoying... need to turn it on manually...
Thanks!0
